Biography
Travis was admitted to practice law in 2021. After clerking for the general counsel of Iowa Realty, Travis joined Hartung Schroeder as a law clerk in 2020– where he clerked for a year and half before becoming an associate in the fall of 2021. With his dad and brother both being home builders, Travis’ early law career includes work in real estate and construction. At Hartung & Schroeder, his caseload often includes matters pertaining to real estate, business, landlord-tenant, family law, and civil litigation.
Education
Travis attended Drake University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. He went on to graduate from Drake University Law School with honors – where he earned both his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees. While at Drake, Travis worked in the Drake Legal Clinic providing legal services to start-up businesses and non-profit organizations in the Des Moines areas.

Travis enjoys golfing, fishing, spending time with his family, and playing sand volleyball and slow-pitch softball.
